As a Rheumatoid Arthritis sufferer, it is pretty important I avoid certain 'trigger foods' that can increase inflammation. 

Over the years, I've also learned to avoid foods that increase fatigue or cause digestion problems.

I follow this diet (mostly) along side with good old fashioned exercise three times a week. My weapon of choice is running, but I also cycle and swim. When my joints will let me, I love OCR races.

Generally, if I eat my greens, lay off the cheese, and get my heart rate up for 45 minutes every now and then I fit in my jeans.

It's as simple as that.

NB: I say 'lay off' not exclude cheese. I don't believe in extreme diets. Cheese is my friend. I just don't hang out with it that often.
